Step-by-Step Guide

1. Pre-Shipment Preparations

• Assess Dimensions and Weight: Determine the exact dimensions and weight of the pallet racks to ensure they fit within a standard reefer container and to calculate freight costs accurately. Check for potential OOG (Out-of-Gauge) classification.
• Secure Packaging: Pallet racks should be adequately protected with appropriate packaging (e.g., shrink wrap, corner protectors, etc.) to prevent damage during transit. Consider using dunnage to prevent shifting within the container.
• Temperature Requirements: Specify the precise temperature range required for the safe transportation of the pallet racks. This information is crucial for the reefer container settings.
• Documentation: Prepare all necessary shipping documents, including commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and any certificates of origin or other required documentation.

2. Reefer Container Booking
