How to Ship Modular Retail Displays
Shipping Options
The best shipping method depends on size and weight:
- FCL (Full Container Load): Suitable for smaller, lighter displays fitting in standard 20' or 40' containers.
- OOG (Out of Gauge): Required for larger or heavier displays exceeding container dimensions or weight limits. Specialized handling and potentially flat rack or open-top containers are needed.
- Breakbulk: Used for extremely large or unusually shaped displays secured directly onto a vessel.
Packaging Guidelines
Proper packaging is crucial to prevent damage. Use sturdy materials like corrugated cardboard boxes, plywood crates, or custom-built packaging, depending on fragility and size. Ensure adequate cushioning (e.g., bubble wrap, foam padding) and bracing to prevent shifting. Clearly label packages with "Fragile," "Handle with Care," and shipping information (origin and destination addresses).

- Dimensions of each display (length, width, height)
- Weight of each display
- Total number of displays

Cost Considerations
