Shipping Method

For most shipments of custom-palletised apparel, FCL (Full Container Load) using a standard 20' or 40' dry container is the most efficient method. This assumes your pallets fit within standard container dimensions and weight limits.

Before Shipping

Packaging: Securely package apparel on pallets suitable for international shipping. Use strong, weatherproof materials and appropriate strapping.
Pallet Selection: Use heat-treated, ISPM 15 compliant pallets constructed to support apparel weight and withstand handling.
Pallet Dimensions & Weight: Accurately measure and weigh each pallet. Exceeding limits may result in OOG cargo.
Documentation: Gather commercial invoice, packing list, and any required certificates.
Incoterms: Determine Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP).
Insurance: Consider cargo insurance.

During Shipping

Tracking: Monitor shipment progress using the tracking number. Shipping International provides tracking information.
Communication: Maintain open communication with Shipping International.

Upon Arrival

customs clearance: Shipping International will handle customs clearance (depending on Incoterms).
Delivery: Arrange delivery to your final destination. Shipping International can assist with delivery arrangements.
Inspection: Inspect cargo for damage and report any issues to Shipping International immediately.

Out of Gauge (OOG) Cargo

If your pallets are OOG, contact Shipping International before booking.

Damaged Goods: Thoroughly inspect upon arrival. Report damage immediately to Shipping International and your insurer.
